WASHINGTON, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- An album featuring the music of Metallica adapted into soothing lullabies hit store shelves in the United States this week.

Baby Rock Records uses glockenspiel, vibraphone and chimes to turn the heavy-metal, rage-filled music into gentle, lulling instrumentals for babies, The Washington Post reported.

"I'm laughing the whole time; it's all tongue-in-cheek," Michael

Armstrong, who also produced lullaby-versions of Coldplay and Radiohead, told the Post.

Baby Rock Records is part of the CMH Records family. Vitamin Records, another CMH label, has released a series of string quartet and choral tributes to artists including Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Metallica, Tool and Mariah Carey, the newspaper said.
