LONDON, July 28 (UPI) -- Britain's Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 80 has become the hardest working member of her royal family.

A Times of London survey says the British monarch, currently on a cruise in the Scottish Isles, has overtaken her daughter, the Princess Royal, in official functions this year as the country marks her 80th birthday.

The Queen and the Prince of Wales have each carried out 178 engagements followed by the Duke of Edinburgh with 140, says the report.

With five months left in the year, Princess Anne, 55, however, can still regain the top spot from her mother.

The Queen reimburses all of the nearly $2.8 million Civil List payments from her private funds, the report said. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are financed by the Duchy of Cornwall.
