CHRIST CHURCH, New Zealand, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- A waitress who was ordered to wear a bikini to a beach-theme evening at a New Zealand bar has won a sexual harassment ruling.

A judge ordered the owners of Mad Cow Bar and Café in Christ Church to pay the woman $700 NZ ($485 U.S.), the Wellington Dominion Post reported.

The plaintiff said that in addition to being told to wear the bikini, she was called a "tease" when she wore a T-shirt over a bikini top and subjected to unwanted touching. She was also forced to witness a "foam party" at which some of the participants stripped.

The judge found that pornographic or sexual pictures on the walls of the restrooms were not sexual harassment and that the woman's dismissal was not unjustified.
