FARGO, N.D., Aug. 26 (UPI) -- A son of a North Dakota auto dealer has been charged with unlawful entry of a motor vehicle for repossessing the wrong car.

The Sioux Falls Forum reports Kailee Sparks of Fargo said she was driving her boyfriend's recently purchased 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada when two men began tailing her in a Cadillac. They eventually got in front of her and stopped short -- causing her to hit the Cadillac in the rear.

One of the men, Alan Peterson, allegedly got out, grabbed Sparks' keys and drove off in the Bravada. Peterson's mother, Jodi, owns Wild Bill's Auto Sales in West Fargo.

Jodi Peterson said she had offered to put the couple up in a hotel for a night and pay for repairs to the Bravada -- but has heard nothing from them.

"They were pretty angry," Peterson told the Forum. "And I guess I don't blame them one bit."
