VIENNA, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Austrian police have arrested a woman who broke into a man's house dressed as a ghost several times over a period of weeks, the BBC reported Sunday.

The man said he had heard footsteps and slamming doors in the hallways of his large house late at night. He called the police, who set up video surveillance that caught a Polish woman dressed as a ghost on camera. Police arrested the specter, whose husband reportedly worked for the house's owner.
