MILWAUKEE, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- A 21-year-old Chicago man nabbed for speeding in Wisconsin three times in four hours says he likes the publicity, but doesn't want his parents to find out.

Piotr Pac was fined three times by the Wisconsin State Patrol on New Year's Day. Soon after, as he slept in the car, his 18-year-old girlfriend Emilia Goralczyk was stopped for speeding as well. In all four cases, both were also fined for not wearing seatbelts, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel said.

The total of their fines comes to $1,393.

Pac said his father knows he got caught speeding near home a few days before New Year's but he doesn't know about the Wisconsin tickets, nor the one he got a few days later near home for driving 72 in a 35 mph zone.

"My father kicked my ass" after the first ticket, "so I can't tell him about this stuff in Wisconsin," Pac said.

Pac said he has been driving since he was 9 in his native Poland and he has been safe at high speeds during his five years in the United States.

"You have to have an exciting life," he said.
