NEW YORK, July 28 (UPI) -- Diners at the Stage Deli in Manhattan can order a "George Bush" or "John Kerry" sandwich, but they're the same, the New York Post said Wednesday.

"The sandwiches are actually identical -- the eatery's most popular combo, an overstuffed $17.95 corned beef, pastrami and Swiss on rye normally called the Cindy Adams," the paper said.

Polls show Bush trailing far behind Kerry in New York State and New York City, but the president is doing better in the Seventh Avenue deli.

Customers prefered his label on the sandwich by 52 percent to 48 last week, up from 51 percent for Kerry and 49 percent for Bush the previous week.
