TEA, S.D., Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Runoff from a snowbank left fuel customers at a South Dakota gas station with water in their tanks, KELO TV reported Saturday.

The store, known as Kum & Go, in Tea, S.D., promised to pay for repairs on as many as 10 vehicles that got water in their tanks after a nearby snowbank melted into the store's tanks.

Kum & Go Manager Kelly Petersen said, "I know that I would not be too happy if I just got gas somewhere and my car wouldn't start."

An estimated 400 gallons of water from the 18-foot-high snowbank ran off into the store's gasoline tanks.
