Australian brothels ready for Rugby Cup

MELBOURNE, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Australia's brothels are gearing up for a big increase in business expected during the Rugby World Cup.

Tens of thousands of foreign visitors are expected for the month-long tournament and brothel owners are planning special events to lure fans of different nationalities. Some are recruiting "specialists," the BBC reported.

Robbie Swan, media director of The Eros Association, the trade body for Australia's adult entertainment industry, said the Boardroom in Melbourne had decked itself out in the national colors of Italy and New Zealand while the Daily Planet brothel was adding finger food.

He said brothels were surprised by the demand in previous years, but no more.
