CANADA: A silent protest in massive Cardenista march, peacefully protesting election fraud on Paseo de la Reforma, Mexico City on December 1, 1988, during President Salinas Gotari's Inauguration. Months earlier ballot counting was halted allegedly due to computer glitches as Cauahtemoc Cardenas took an early lead in Mexican presidential elections; several days later PRI candidate Salinas Gotari won by the slightest of margins.
