The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City has held a gala almost every year since 1948 to premiere the Costume Institute's annual exhibit. The 2025 Met Gala will take place on May 5 and will feature the theme "Superfine: Tailoring Black Styles." Here's a look at memorable Met Gala looks through the years.
