JACKSON, Ga., Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Two adults and two young children died in a fiery crash in rural central Georgia, authorities said.

Christina Levan, 36, Susanna Guffey, 24, Zoe Flick, 5, and Lucas Ross, 2, died Friday night when their Ford Bronco ran off a road into some trees at roughly 70 mph, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Sunday.

Guffey allegedly was driving and lost control of the Bronco, which burst into flames when it hit the trees.

Police said two others -- Tammy Flick, 36, the mother of Zoe, and Guffey's son, Brody, 4 -- escaped the wreckage by crawling through the truck's rear window.

Police said most of the adults involved in the accident were intoxicated and none of the victims were wearing seat belts.

Friends had freed the Bronco from being stuck in the mud just prior to the crash.
