LAS VEGAS, April 27 (UPI) -- Actress Lindsay Lohan, known for her well-publicized partying lifestyle, limited her alcohol intake during a recent visit to Las Vegas, witnesses said.

People.com said the 21-year-old actress, who has gone into rehab, only drank non-alcoholic Shirley Temples while eating dinner at Las Vegas' Strip House restaurant.

The "Mean Girls" star drank the Grenadine syrup cocktails while enjoying a lobster dinner with her friend Samantha Ronson Friday, the Web site reported.

The low-key start to the evening marked a major departure from the Grey Goose vodka and Red Bull cocktails Lohan was seen consuming at a party last Saturday, People.com said.

Lohan's Friday night concluded with the pair watching a performance of rapper Kayne West's "Glow in the Dark" tour and a stay at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
