May 30 (UPI) -- Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins reignited their feud Monday on Raw, less than a week away from their Fatal 5-Way Match at Extreme Rules.

The main event of the night, the highly-competitive bout, saw both men pulling out all the stops in order to obtain victory.

Things began to tip in Reigns' favor after The Big Dog nailed his former Shield partner with a Drive-By ribs first into a ring post. This left Rollins with aggravated ribs throughout the match that would only get worse after landing a high-flying Frog Splash.

After The Artifact missed with a Phoenix Splash, Reigns then dodged an additional high-knee to land a devastating Spear for the three count.

Rollins and Reigns meet again Sunday in a Fatal 5-Way Match alongside Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe in order to determine who will face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.

Wyatt, Balor and Joe also faced off on Raw in a Triple Threat Match that proved anything can happen under Triple Threat and Fatal 5-Way rules.

Joe walked away with the victory after he tossed out Balor and pinned Wyatt for the three count after Balor landed the Coup de Grace on The Eater of Worlds.

Also on Raw, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz defeated The Miz and Cesaro and Sheamus, Elias Samson defeated local competitor Zac Evans, Rich Swann defeated Noam Dar, Titus O'Neil defeated Kalisto, Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss presented Bayley with a "This Is Your Life" segment and Austin Aries and Gentleman Jack Gallagher defeated Cruiserweight Champion Neville and TJP.
