NEW YORK, May 13 (UPI) -- ABC is adding yet another Shondaland series to its 2016-17 season after approving The Catch for a sophomore run.

The fifth major series from Shonda Rhimes' production company, Still Star-Crossed, will be a period drama based on the aftermath of Romeo and Juliet. The tale, based on a novel by Melinda Taub, will follow the tensions between the Capulets and Montagues after the teens' ill-fated love story.

Starring Wade Briggs, Anthony Head, Zuleikha Robinson, Lashana Lynch, Ebonee Noel, Sterling Sulieman and more, the series reportedly just wrapped up production in Spain.

The new addition will expand Shondaland's reign over the network, as it already airs The Catch, How To Get Away With Murder, Scandal and Grey's Anatomy.
