Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey join Marvel's 'Iron Fist'

LOS ANGELES, April 19 (UPI) -- Jessica Stroup of 90210 fame and Guiding Light's Tom Pelphrey will both be joining Marvel's upcoming Netflix series, Iron Fist.

The two join Jessica Henwick, David Wenham and Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones -- who will star as the series superhero.

Stroup will play series regular Joy Meachum with Pelphrey as her brother, Ward, Variety reported Monday.

On the same day, actor Jones was photographed on set of the series in New York City. His character will be a skilled martial artist who later becomes a "hero for hire," according to Comic Book Resources.

Iron Fist is expected to debut on Netflix sometime next year.
