'Teen Mom' star Maci Bookout reveals unborn son's name

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., April 15 (UPI) -- Maci Bookout and fiancé Taylor McKinney have a name picked out for their unborn son.

The 24-year-old Teen Mom OG star revealed she and McKinney plan to name their son Maverick Reed in an interview with MTV News. The couple are already parents to 10-month-old daughter Jayde.

"Maverick was actually one of our boy name choices when we were pregnant with Jayde before we knew it was a girl," Bookout explained. "Reed is a family name for both our families."

"We were also considering Connor for the first name, but we decided Maverick went better with the names Bentley and Jayde," she added. The Teen Mom star is mom to 7-year-old Bentley with her ex-fiancé, Ryan Edwards.

Bookout and McKinney got engaged in January and announced they're expecting their second child the next month. The reality star revealed she's due May 30, a day after Jayde's first birthday, in a previous interview with MTV.

"I found out I was pregnant with baby number three right after we got engaged. It was not expected or a planned pregnancy at all," Bookout admitted. "Because it's the third one, you know what's going on. You've been there, done that a couple times now. So, it's laid back."

"When Taylor found out that we were expecting again, he was very excited. Annoyingly excited," she added. "Bentley was really excited from the very beginning."

Bookout celebrated McKinney's 27th birthday this week, calling her husband-to-be her "better half, her stronger half [and her] very best friend." Teen Mom OG completed a fifth season on MTV in March.
