LOS ANGELES, March 22 (UPI) -- Mae Whitman will reunite with Parenthood co-star Lauren Graham on Gilmore Girls.

TV Line reported the 27-year-old actress, who played Graham's onscreen daughter on Parenthood, will cameo on Netflix's forthcoming Gilmore Girls revival.

Graham is reprising Lorelei Gilmore for new Gilmore Girls episodes, with Alexis Bledel as her onscreen daughter, Rory Gilmore. Whitman and Bledel previously met at the ATX Television Festival in June.

"At long last we meet #drawyourswords #breaktheinternet," Whitman captioned a photo of herself with Graham and Bledel at the time.

Whitman's role is being kept under wraps, but sources said she "shares a really fun (albeit small) moment with Graham that will delight Parenthood fans." The actress showed her support for Gilmore Girls after Netflix announced the revival in January.

"So excited 2 finally announce return of my bff @thelaurengraham's show Gilmore Girls," she tweeted.

Gilmore Girls had a seven-season run on The WB/CW from 2000 to 2007. Jared Padalecki and Milo Ventimiglia, who recently reunited in a new video, will also return for the revival, along with Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop and Keiko Agena.

Parenthood, meanwhile, ran for six seasons on NBC, with Whitman and Graham as Amber Holt and Sarah Braverman. Whitman is also known for Arrested Development and providing voice work for Family Guy and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
