NEW YORK, March 16 (UPI) -- Spike TV has picked up Christina Aguilera's music game show, Tracks.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new concept show, which is executive produced by Aguilera, is a music trivia show where teams of two attempt to correctly name song titles after listening to a track's signature lyrics or sound.

Similar in scope to Spike's popular Lip Sync Battle, Tracks will feature surprise musical celebrity guests who will perform songs that are either their own or someone else's. A host for the series has yet to be determined.

"Having finely tuned my ear for music over the years, I thought it would be fun to test other folks and see if they can identify a track — with a twist — since contestants will have to focus on a single component of a song," Aguilera said in a statement.

"I'm excited to have Tracks debuting on Spike TV, and proud to have this as the first project springing from our first-look deal with Lionsgate," she continued referencing her company MX Productions deal with Lionsgate TV.

Tracks is set to premiere later this year on Spike as a half-hour special.

The announcement comes after the network greenlit another half-hour musical special, Caraoke Showdown hosted by comedian Craig Robinson.
