Hillary Clinton to appear on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'

NEW YORK, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been booked as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, NBC announced Tuesday.

Sept. 16 will mark Clinton's first late-night, talk-show appearance since announcing her White House run in April. It will also be her first-ever visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Clinton is the latest presidential hopeful to use late-night television as a means of drumming up buzz for their campaign.

Jeb Bush is to appear on the inauguaral episode of Late Show with Stephen Colbert Tuesday night, while Bush's fellow Republican candidate Chris Christie recently appeared on Tonight and their rival Donald Trump is set to visit Fallon Friday.
