NEW YORK, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Ben Whishaw, Charlotte Rampling and Jim Broadbent are to star in the five-part miniseries London Spy, BBC America announced.
The program is described as "the story of a chance romance between two people from very different worlds: one from the headquarters of the Secret Intelligence Service, the other from a world of clubbing and youthful excess."
Created by best-selling author Tom Rob Smith and directed by Jakob Verbruggen, the contemporary thriller is being co-produced with BBC Two and produced by Working Title Television.
"London Spy has gathered an exceptional cast and a visionary director. I couldn't be more excited, or proud," Smith said in a statement.
