LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller will reunite on new CW series The Flash.
Purcell will portray villain Mick Rory, aka Heat Wave, with Miller as Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold. The actors previously starred as brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield on four seasons of Fox drama Prison Break.
In the DC comics, Rory is a pyromaniac who uses his obsession with fire to become the villain Heat Wave. The character joins Captain Cold's team of villains, the Rogues, and helps him battle superhero Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), aka the Flash. Miller will first appear as Snart in episode four, and Purcell will debut as Rory in episode ten.
The Flash was created by Robert Kanigher, John Broome and Carmine Infantino, and is being developed by writer and producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns. Candice Patton also stars as Iris West, with Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West.
The Flash premieres October 7 on The CW.
