Michael J. Fox heading back to 'The Good Wife'

NEW YORK, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Michael J. Fox will reprise his role of attorney Louis Canning on the U.S. legal drama "The Good Wife" since his sitcom was canceled, Variety reported.

NBC confirmed this week it had pulled its freshman series "The Michael J. Fox Show" from its lineup due to low ratings.

Variety said Fox will return to "The Good Wife," starring Julianna Margulies, for multiple episodes this season.

The second half of Season 5 of "The Good Wife" is to kick off March 9.
