NEW YORK, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Lifetime is to air "Lizzie Borden Took an Ax," a TV movie starring Christina Ricci as a 19th century Massachusetts woman accused of double homicide, Jan. 25.

Borden was acquitted of the 1892 ax slayings of her father and stepmother but no one else was ever convicted of the crimes.

"What I thought was interesting about playing this part was the question of, 'How does a person behave once they're accused of this in trying to convince everyone they're innocent?,'" the New York Post quoted Ricci as saying. "The best people can do is put all the elements together and hypothesize."

The TV movie co-stars Clea DuVall and Billy Campbell.
