Aiden Turner charged in alleged remote-throwing incident

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles City Attorney's office says it has charged actor Aiden Turner with four counts of domestic violence, stemming from an incident last month.

Turner, 36, is accused of throwing a remote control device at his girlfriend, hitting her, and cutting and bruising her eye at their Hollywood apartment, TMZ reported.

The former "All My Children" and "Dancing with the Stars" cast member was charged with two counts of domestic violence with injury and two counts of domestic violence without any injury, in case a jury doesn't believe the woman was hurt, the celebrity news website said.
