Secretary-Treasurer Michael Apted, fifth Vice President Thomas Schlamme and national Executive Director Jay D. Roth negotiated on behalf of the DGA, and AMPTP President Carol Lombardini represented the studios, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The DGA's current contract expires June 30, but the organization tends to begin negotiations six months in advance to avoid a labor disruptions, the Times reported.

Should the DGA national board approve the agreement, it will likely go before the membership for ratification in January, The Hollywood Reporter said.
