CHARLESTON, W.Va., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Anna Davis, a star of the canceled MTV reality series "Buckwild," was charged with driving under the influence in West Virginia.
The arrest occurred early Friday morning, TMZ reported.
Davis sent a message to fans by Twitter: "Word to the wise: don't believe everything you read," US magazine said.
On the show, Davis was known as "The Ringleader." "Buckwild" featured the lives of a group of young people in West Virginia.
"Buckwild" was canceled in April after Shain Gandee or "Gandee Candy" was killed in a freak accident. He was off-roading with his uncle and another man when their truck got stuck in the mud, and investigators determined the exhaust pipe had become blocked, sending carbon monoxide into the cab.
Two other cast members have been arrested. Salwa Almin was charged with drug distribution, and Michael Burford or "Bluefoot" with DUI, both in February.
