LOS ANGELES, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" co-stars Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton appeared together on "Conan" in Los Angeles for the first time.

The actors' visit Wednesday marked their only joint appearance on a late-night talk show.

In addition to sharing stories from the set, the trio also presented some exclusive footage from the sitcom's current ninth season, which is airing on FXX after eight seasons on its sister network FX.

The series follows a group of underachieving lifelong friends who run an Irish bar in Philly.
