Hasselhoff coffee commercial becomes web sensation

LOS ANGELES, July 10 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor David Hasselhoff has returned for a second ad campaign promoting Cumberland Farms iced coffee.

A video posted on YouTube of the former "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider" star walking and driving along the beach had been viewed about 200,000 times between when it was posted June 24 and Wednesday.

In the commercial, Hasselhoff can be seen -- and heard -- singing, "I'm so thirsty for your love, I can't hide it. I'm so crazy for your taste, I just can't deny it," while holding a cup of the frosty beverage.

The Boston Globe said last summer's Hasselhoff ice coffee campaign was so popular hundreds of posters featuring him were stolen from poles outside stores.
