CARDIFF, Wales, July 3 (UPI) -- British Prince Charles and his wife Camilla visited the set of TV's "Doctor Who" during their traditional summer tour of Wales, the BBC said Wednesday.

The royal couple met the science-fiction show's stars, Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman, when they stopped by BBC Wales' Roath Lock studios.

The prince and his wife also enjoyed a tour of the Tardis, the show's iconic, phone-booth-like time machine, and learned how to speak like one of the series' intergalactic cyborgs known as Daleks, the BBC said.
