NEW YORK, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Television personality Regis Philbin is in talks with Fox Sports to possibly anchor a show, the New York Post reported Thursday.

Philbin, 81, left "Live with Regis & Kelly" in November 2011, reportedly after a salary dispute.

"Conversations have taken place, but any specific role, or potential show, have not resulted from those conversations or discussions at this point," a source close to Philbin's negotiations with Fox Sports told the Post.

Philbin's spokeswoman told the newspaper it is "too soon" to comment on his job prospects.
