MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, N.J., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- A New Jersey jury found actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer guilty Tuesday of vehicular homicide related to a 2010 drunk driving accident.

Locane-Bovenizer, 40, starred in the films "Cry-Baby," "Airheads" and "School Ties," as well as the first season of "Melrose Place."

She was arrested in 2010 after she crashed into another vehicle, while driving with a blood-alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit, prosecutors said.

Helene Seeman, 60, was killed and her husband, Fred, injured by the actress' car as they were turning into their driveway in Montgomery Township, N.J.

People.com said Locane-Bovenizer faces five to 10 years in prison for Helene's death, and three to five years behind bars for an assault by auto charge for Fred's injuries.

Locane-Bovenizer, a mother of two, is in prison now as she awaits sentencing March 1.
