Castle-Hughes signs on to Syfy's 'Rewind'

NEW YORK, May 4 (UPI) -- Keisha Castle-Hughes, Jennifer Ferrin, Robbie Jones and Keon Mohajeri joined the cast of "Rewind," an action thriller pilot shooting in Toronto, Syfy said.

The stars are working alongside the previously announced lead Shane McRae in the 90-minute pilot from BermanBraun and Universal Cable Productions, the cable network said Friday.

Director David Cronenberg and actor Jeff Fahey will guest star in the pilot. Jack Bender is set to direct the project, which was penned by Justin Marks, who will also executive produce with Tom Spezialy, Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Gene Stein.

"Rewind" follows a team of military field operatives and civilian scientists who must use untested technology to travel back in time to alter past events in order to change the future and avoid a devastating terrorist attack, a synopsis said.
