LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Police Department says it has determined there was no threat associated with white powder sent to CBS Studios' mail room Wednesday.

E! News reported the powder was contained in an envelope addressed to "Dancing with the Stars," but it was unclear specifically for whom it may have been intended.

A hazardous materials team was called to investigate a report of a suspicious package sent to the mail room on the 7800 block of Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, but quickly determined there was no danger, E! News said.

Envelopes containing suspicious white powder were previously sent to "Dancing with the Stars" and "Late Show with Craig Ferguson," but those substances were also determined to be harmless.
