"John Goodman's phenomenal body of work speaks for itself. And we've been huge fans of his for years," Todd Kessler, "Damages" executive producer, told USA Today. "It's a real thrill to be adding an actor of John's extensive range and talent to the cast of 'Damages.' We can't wait to pit him against Glenn Close and Rose Byrne in our fourth season."

Season 4 of "Damages" is to begin airing this summer.
