DALLAS, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- The new U.S. series "Naughty But Nice with Rob Shuter" features a theme song penned by Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman, HDNet said Wednesday.

The last show they wrote a theme song for was "American Bandstand."

"Naughty But Nice with Rob Shuter" is a celebrity news and interview program starring the popular titular gossip columnist and set to debut Saturday.

"I hope you like the theme song we wrote for Rob's show," Manilow, who also performs the tune, said in a statement. "Because, knowing Rob as I do, you are going to be listening to it for a long time."

"In my career I have been fortunate to work with some remarkable talents who have achieved greatness in their respective fields -- Dick Clark, Bette Midler, Dionne Warwick, Lily Tomlin, Barbara Cook, Academy Award-winning writer Ted Tally, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein ... and Barry, of course," added Sussman. "This kid is next."
