Report: Fox drops 'Lone Star' from slate

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- The U.S. television network Fox says "Lie to Me" will take over "Lone Star's" time slot as of Monday.

TVGuide.com said the show hasn't been officially canceled yet, but probably will be soon, since the viewership for its first two episodes was low.

The new season of "Lie to Me" was originally slated to premiere in November.

It is unclear when the remainder of "Lone Star" episodes might air, TVGuide.com said, adding this is the first new series of the 2010-2011 season to be yanked from the schedule.
