LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Showtime says Emmanuelle Chriqui has signed on to play a recurring role in its upcoming period drama series "The Borgias," which is now shooting in Budapest.

The "Entourage" cast member is to appear in three episodes as Sancia, the beautiful and seductive Neapolitan princess who marries the pope's youngest son Joffre, played by Aidan Alexander, even though she has her eye on another Borgia brother, Showtime said in a release Wednesday.
