Sharpton planning Sunday a.m. TV show

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- U.S. civil rights leader and radio talk show host Al Sharpton is to star in a syndicated Sunday morning news and information magazine show.

The minister is to discuss plans for his "Education Superhighway" program at a news conference during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's 40th annual legislative conference Thursday in Washington, his representatives said Wednesday.

He is also expected to introduce ESH Holdings, a new multimedia company dedicated to providing public discussion of ongoing inequalities in education, health and civil rights.
