'SNL' fave Alec Baldwin to close season

NEW YORK, May 2 (UPI) -- U.S. TV and film star Alec Baldwin says he has been tapped to host the season finale of NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

Baldwin, who stars on NBC's award-winning comedy "30 Rock," told a reporter at White House Correspondents' Association dinner Saturday he will helm "SNL" for the 15th time May 15, TVGuide.com reported Sunday.

NBC has declined to comment and has yet to announce the finale's guest host, TVGuide.com said.
