NEW YORK, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- A woman is suing Anderson Cooper for injuries she suffered in a fall at a New York firehouse owned by the CNN journalist, RadarOnline.com reported.

The Web site reported Saturday that interior designer Killian O'Brien alleges in a suit filed in state Supreme Court in Manhattan last November that she fell through a hole in the floor at the firehouse being converted by Cooper.

O'Brien alleges the September 2009 accident was the result of the floor opening not being covered or guarded.

"The defendants and/or their agents, servants, and employees did not properly furnish or erect, or cause to be furnished or erected, safety devices that were constructed, placed, and operated so as to give proper protection to the plaintiff," she alleges in the suit.

O'Brien, 29, alleges after the fall, she became "sick, sore, and disabled, and has suffered severe and permanent personal injuries to her body."

RadarOnline.com said O'Brien is seeking unspecified damages from Cooper, 42.
