Ferguson wins 'So You Think You Can Dance'

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Russell Ferguson was declared the winner Wednesday of the sixth season of the U.S. competition series "So You Think You Can Dance."

"Whoa!" E! News quoted the 20-year-old Boston man as saying upon learning he had won the show's top prize of $250,000.

"I just want to thank everybody so much," he said. "This means everything to me. I've been dreaming of this since, I don't know, since I was born. I came out and was, like, 'Aaah!'"

Jakob Karr was this season's runner-up and Kathryn McCormick came in third.
