Chuck and Anna booted from 'DWTS'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Chuck Liddell and his professional dance partner Anna Trebunskaya were the latest contestants booted from the U.S. competition show "Dancing with the Stars."

"I had fun. We had a good time, made a run at it," E! News quoted the Ultimate Fighting champion as saying on Tuesday night's results show. "It's hard to do, I made a shot at it."

"I had so much fun working with you. You are a gentle giant. You are my bear and you are my hippo ... That's my nice words to him," Trebunskaya told her partner. "And you made me so proud each single week you danced."

Aaron Carter, Natalie Coughlin, Mark Dacascos, Melissa Joan Hart, Michael Irvin, Joanna Krupa, Mya, Kelly Osbourne, Donny Osmond and Louie Vito -- along with their professional dance partners -- are still in the running for the show's coveted mirrorball trophy.

Already eliminated from Season 9 of the series were celebrities Ashley Hamilton, Macy Gray, Kathy Ireland and Debi Mazar. Former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, quit the series last week after he injured both of his feet rehearsing.
