Lana Del Rey to release new single, song with The Weeknd

The singer is expected to release new album "Honeymoon" in September.

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- Lana Del Rey will soon release a new single and a collaboration with The Weeknd.

The 30-year-old American singer announced new song "High by the Beach" Tuesday on Instagram, writing, "'High by the Beach' Coming August 10th." The track will appear on her upcoming album Honeymoon, due later this year.

News of the single came just hours before The Weeknd revealed Del Rey will appear on his forthcoming record, Beauty Beyond the Madness. The 25-year-old Canadian recording artist unveiled the album's tracklist on Twitter.

Beauty Beyond the Madness will feature Del Rey on the song "Prisoners," with Labrinth on "Losers" and Ed Sheeran on "Dark Times." The album also includes The Weeknd's song "Earned It," which he recorded for the 50 Shades of Grey movie.

Del Rey last released Ultraviolence in June 2014, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles "West Coast" and "Shades of Cool." The Weeknd released his debut studio album, Kiss Land, in September 2013, which includes the singles "Live For" and "Wanderlust."
