LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Guns N' Roses has scheduled its first series of U.S. concert dates in five years, the rock band's representatives confirmed.

The American leg of their latest tour is to begin Oct. 28 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla., MTV.com said.

The group, which has undergone numerous personnel changes over the years, includes veteran front man Axl Rose, as well as guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and Richard Fortus; bassist Tommy Stinson; keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman; and drummer Frank Ferrer.

The band's last major concert was in Dubai last December. The musicians are scheduled to perform a run of shows in South America and Mexico before they begin their U.S. tour, MTV.com said.
