Bieber announces N. American tour dates

NEW YORK, March 16 (UPI) -- Canadian-born singing sensation Justin Bieber has announced dates for his first headlining North American concert tour.

The 16-year-old recording artist's second album "My World 2.0" is set for release March 23.

His "My World" tour, presented by AEG Live and featuring Sean Kingston as a special guest, is to open June 23 at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn.

The tour will take the teen performer through more than 40 cities before wrapping up in Allentown, Pa., on Sept. 4, AEG Live said in a release Tuesday.
