Lisa Loeb gives birth to a daughter

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Lisa Loeb's publicist confirmed the singer-songwriter has given birth to a daughter in Los Angeles.

The child is the first for Loeb and her husband Roey Hershkovitz, a music production supervisor for "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien." The couple married last January.

The 41-year-old recording artist's representative told People magazine exclusively Lyla Rose Loeb Hershkovitz was born Sunday morning at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
