Snatched is directed by Jonathan Levine (The Night Before) and produced by Paul Feig and Peter Chernin (The Heat, Spy). Christopher Meloni, Ike Barinholtz, Oscar Jaenada and Wanda Sykes co-star.

Schumer praised Hawn as her "hero and friend" in an Instagram post Wednesday. She revealed in an August interview with the Los Angeles Times that she and the actress were making a movie.

"[Goldie] plays my mom," she said at the time. "My character is supposed to go on this trip to South America with a boyfriend. But he breaks up with her. And it's a nonrefundable ticket and she doesn't want to drink alone."

Schumer announced the film's title and release date Monday, writing, "My movie with @officialgoldiehawn is called 'Snatched' @snatchedmovie yeah!!! See it in theaters Mother's Day!" Snatched opens in theaters May 12, 2017.
