LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Greg Berlanti is set to direct a re-make of Little Shop of Horrors for Warner Bros.

The Hollywood Reporter said Matthew Robinson wrote the script for the latest version of the 1960 horror movie, which was adapted in 1982 as a Broadway musical and, four years later, was turned into a big-screen musical.

The Little Shop story focuses on a struggling floral-shop worker whose life is changed by the discovery of a blood-thirsty plant.

No casting or release date for the re-make have been announced yet.

Berlanti's credits include Dawson's Creek, Everwood, Political Animals, Supergirl and Arrow.
