CARTERSVILLE, Ga., April 26 (UPI) -- Photos from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 suggest Nathan Fillion will cameo yet again in the sequel film after playing a motion-captured inmate in the first.

The Firefly actor's human face was photographed gracing several fake movie posters during shooting in Cartersville, Ga., including one advertising a biopic about Avenger Tony Stark.

The photos emerged on Reddit via user SurfingIsLyf, or Jonathan Hunter, on Monday.

From the set pictures, which also include a very obvious sign reading the character's name, many fans have concluded that Fillion will play Avenger-turned-actor Simon Williams, or Wonder Man. He is included on the movie posters for the fake romantic comedy Oh, Rebecca, fake barbarian film Arkon, a horror film titled Haxan 2 and a Steve Jobs-style poster for Stark's biopic.

In terms of the Marvel Comics Universe, Williams is the brother of the Grim Reaper and former member of the Masters of Evil who later joined the Avengers. He soon after left the crime-fighting group to pursue acting, a career that proved very lucrative for the character. Williams worked for the Avengers one last time via the Unity Division, and, according to the comics, died while defending the planet from the Apocalypse Twins.
